Business Experience:
Dave Ambruster has more than 30 years of professional experience in Human Resources, Recruiting
and Executive Development. The first 14 years with The Penn State University, Executive and
Management Development Programs as both a faculty member and manager of the academic
administrative staff. An effective presenter and training consultant, he has served as a part time
instructor in the HRM Program at the University of Richmond and as guest lecturer at Virginia Union
University. He is a “hands on” HR person with employment, staffing and labor relations issues. The
16 years of experience with major corporations including a division of General Mills, Cooper
Industries, Tampella Power and Alfa Laval, has been in both the domestic and international arena. He
has also been active with the INROADS Program for hiring minority candidates. Assisting
organizations to build, identify and strengthen the company’s management talent is his primary
objective and passion.

 Recruited over 2,000 professional, technical, engineering & production staff.

 Implemented the Hay and Frye Compensation System at General Mills division.
