We invite you to participate in the International Scientific and Practical Conference of the
Young Scientists «Problems and perspectives of the plant world investigations»
that will be held on May 13-16th 2014 in Nikitsky Botanical Gardens – National Scientific
Centre NAAS of Ukraine (Yalta, Crimea, Ukraine).

REGISTRATION AND ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION
Participants of the conference are invited to fill in the Registration Form and to submit
the e-version of abstract(s) in a file for the address of the Organizing Committee
smu.nbs@gmail.com. If an abstract has several authors, all of them should fill in the
registration form; however only the first (or presenting) author should attach a file with the
abstract. The names of the files must be the same as the author's last name (surname) and
initials in Latin (for example - Ivanov-reg.doc; Ivanov-tez.doc).
Confirmation of registration and accepting of the abstract will be sent by e-mail to all
registered participants during 5 working days. The Organizing committee has the right to edit
the abstracts. Abstracts not corresponding to the recommended format or the topics of the
conference will not be accepted. After getting a message about the abstract acception
participants should pay the registration fee, make a scan of the payment receipt and send it in
JPEG file to the address of the Organizing Committee.

Deadline for registration and abstract submission – February 15th 2014.
Deadline for registration fee payment – March 1st 2014.
It is supposed to publish abstracts as a Book of the Abstracts before the Conference.
Full papers, selected among the oral presentations by the Scientific Organizing Committee will
be published in “Bulletin of the Sate Nikitsky Botanical Gardens” that is the special edition in
biological sciences.

The abstract size shall not exceed one page. It must be typed in Microsoft Word (file in
"doc" format). Page format – A4 (210 х 297 mm), margins - 30 mm left, 20 mm on other
three sides, font Times New Roman, 14 pt, single interval, indentation 1 cm. Latin names of
plants and other organisms should be italicized. NO tables, figures and/or diagrams are allowed.
Number of references is not limited (the examples of literature citation see below). Literature in
the text must be cited in parentheses as (Author(s), Year). References are given at the end of the
abstract in alphabet order.

The full registration fee is paid by every participant of the Conference (both first
authors and coauthors). Abstract publishing only requires one registration fee for one abstract
(no matter how many authors it has).
If you want to submit several abstracts, you need to pay extra fee (see the table above).
The fee for Abstract publishing only includes the cost of mailing one copy of the Book of
Abstracts.
