A.A.S. BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The career program in Business Administration has been developed for students contemplating careers in the
expanding field of marketing, sales, retailing, advertising, personnel, office management and other related
fields. The curriculum provides specialized training in management, as well as a comprehensive general
education.
MINIMUM DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of 60 credit hours.
English: a minimum of 6 credit hours, to include ENG101 & ENG102.
Communication: a minimum of 3 credit hours, to include COM101.
Business: a minimum of 29 credit hours, to include ACC120, ACC125, BUS101, BUS210, BUS213,
BUS260, BUS261, BUS285 & CSC102.
Business Elective: a minimum of 6 credit hours.
Mathematics: a minimum of 3 credit hours, MAT101 or higher.
Science: a minimum of 4 credit hours of science with a lab.
Social Science: a minimum of 6 credit hours, to include ECO101 or ECO102. Credits must be
diversified among at least 2 of the Social Science discipline (ANT, GEO, GOV, HIS, PSY, or SOC
prefixes).
Free elective: a minimum of 3 credit hours.
