4. bogus- Not genuine; counterfeit; spurious; sham.
5. mortification- A feeling of humiliation or shame, as through some injury to one's
pride or self-respect.
6. meek- Humbly patient or docile, as under provocation from others.
7. waylay- To intercept or attack from ambush, as in order to rob, seize, or slay.
8. dainty- Of delicate beauty; exquisite: a dainty lace handkerchief.
9. petrified- To convert into stone or a stony substance.
10. case-knives- A knife carried or kept in a case or sheath.
