In response to an organization that would need a new instructional training plan. In the
Instructional Design competency and list at least three additional competencies for an analysis.
In the Instructional Design competency the additional competencies that were analysis for the
management would be, Performance Improvement, Managing Learning Programs, and Training
Delivery.
In the Performance Improvement, it should be able to identify the customer. Know what the
customer’s needs are and know what makes the customer happy. If it is needed, the person could
get the stakeholders input also. There should be an analysis done on the performance and know
how to conduct the analysis. Once the analysis has been done, the next step would be to gather
the data and select the solution that would benefit the customer. The information that was
gathered could build a relationship among the customer.
In the Managing the Learning Programs, the person should have a vision and have the strategies
in order. The person should implement some action plans to begin the project. The next step
should be to manage the employees and develop the budget and keep it monitored. The
management should train the leadership in developing the people’s skills. The training manager
would need to manage other people and the projects that are set in place. Also, the manager
should manage resources that were external. The learning program should always be in
compliance with the legal and ethical requirements for the organization.
In the Training Delivery, one of the first steps would be to manage the learning environment.
The next step should be to prepare the training material and prepare the objectives from the
training material. The trainer should align the learning solutions with the objectives and the
learner’s needs to have a successful training class. The trainer should gain some creditability as
an instructor and create a positive surrounding. Always keep the class in a positive mood to grab
his or her attention. The instructor should give back some constructive feedback and to ensure
the learning outcomes from the class.
Business Memo
The instructor would use these three competencies to get a student the information that is needed
to become an instructor. By being able to motivate the class, you could show the positive point
of views and the benefits from the entire class.
