Crafts:
Friendship Wreath – Trace the hands of the children onto colorful paper; write their name on their
handprint; cut them out; arrange them in a circle; glue the hands together.
Finger Puppet Friend – Cut the fingers off of a work glove (one pair of gloves will give you ten
potential puppets!) Use markers and googly eyes to make your basic friend and then embellish
them with fake fur, pipe cleaners, feathers, etc.
Games:
Who’s Missing? – Have the children sit in a circle and close their eyes. Select one child from the
group to step outside the room. The remaining children are left to figure out who is not there.
