When you apply for a delegate position, you will be notified whether you have been
invited for an interview shortly after the registration period (April 15th)
Placing in committees
All Chairs will be divided into committees once the selection process has been
completed. Unfortunately, as mentioned above, UNISCA cannot guarantee that you
will be placed in the committee of your preference, however we will try to suit your
preferences to the best of our abilities. If you are selected as a UNISCA 2012 Chair,
you are expected to attend the Introduction evening on Wednesday May 15th,
where you will have the opportunity to meet the delegates you will be presiding on
during the conference. In time you will receive an e-mail with further information on
the Introduction evening.
Examination
All Chairs must write an extensive paper prior to UNISCA’s commencement. The
deadline for this paper is June 15th. During the first week of UNISCA, Chairs are
expected to take an exam as well as participate in special Chair training, provided by
the UNISCA Secretary General. Detailed information concerning examination and
training will be provided at the introduction evening. For those of you who live
abroad, this will be done via e-mail.
