Note to Preceptor:
Employees should be assessed by you to determine their prior experience with patient care at St.
Elizabeth Medical Center. Many new hires have completed their role transition at SEMC and taken
full patient loads. Guidelines should be amended as needed based upon the employee’s prior
experience and progression.
Week 1
Orientation to unit
