The Way of the Cross
Fr. Juniper J. Thomas will preside as our Venturing
Crews, our Deacons, our Lectors, and our Music
Ministry lead the parish in praying an insightfully
written Stations of the Cross presented as a living
portrait in our sanctuary.
We will begin by singing hymn #00, Were You There.
A verse of #00, At the Cross Her Station Keeping
(Stabat Mater Dolorosa) will be sung in English and
in Latin before the first station and following each
station.
The prayer service ends with the singing of
Palestrina’s Adoramus Te by the choir and a reverent
and silent veneration of the cross by all.
