God’s Word declares that a blood sacrifice was necessary for ______________________ to God.
Lev. 17:11 “..it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life.”
Heb. 9:22 “Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.”
God sent His Son, not as a second plan, but as the _______________of His initial plan.
I Pet. 19:20; Matt. 26:28
But the justified born again believer is declared _____________________. Isa. 43:25; Ps. 103:12

b. We had to _____________ we were lost. Rom. 3:10; 23
c. After admitting we were lost, we ___________ to God.. I Jn. 1:9; Rom. 10:10

before my Father…”
We are responsible to _______________ our gift of salvation & to ________________ that treasure of salvation every

#6 THE ________________________ OF THE CHURCH.
Scripture shows us God established 2 ordinances for us, to remind us of _____________ & His _____________& as a
_________________ about things we believe concerning God’s provision for us.
The ordinances don’t _________________ your soul.
2 ordinances we uphold:
1) __________________ ____________________ by immersion.
3 Things Required for Water Baptism:
1) __________ ___________ Acts 2:38a “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one …..”
2) _________________ in water Rom. 6:4a “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:
3) _______________ up Rom. 6:4b “that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father,
even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
2) The 2nd ordinance of the Church is ________________ ________________________________, consisting
of the bread & the fruit of the vine. Matt. 26:26-28,
The bread represents the __________ of Jesus, He gave for us, & the cup represents the _________ He shed for
us.
Lk. 22:19 “And when He had taken some bread & given thanks, He broke it & gave it to them, saying, “This is
My body which is given for you, do this in remembrance of Me”
I Cor. 11:29: “For he that eateth & drinketh unworthily, eateth & drinketh damnation to himself…”
#7 ______________________ IN THE HOLY GHOST.
Acts 2:1-4
There are instances in the Bible where the disciples ‘laid hands’ on people to receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit, but
scripture shows us this is not a rule. On the day of Pentecost, 120 believers were filled w/ the Spirit & did not have anyone
lay hands on them.
I Cor. 14:2, I Cor. 12:7-11
# 8 EVIDENCE OF THE ______________________ OF THE HOLY GHOST.
The baptism of the Holy Ghost in believers is witnessed by the initial ____________ sign of speaking with other tongues
(which is an unlearned language) as the Spirit of God gave them utterance.
Acts 2:4
Some people think ‘once filled, always filled.” But we believe that each believer should experience one Spirit baptism, but
then ____________________ fillings. Our connection with the Holy Spirit must remain strong.
Gal. 5:22-23
# 9 _________________________________
Whatever was sanctified, was set apart for God’s _________________________ & ____________.
I Cor. 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow
you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be
able to bear it.”
I Pet. 2:5 “…you as living stones are being built up as a spiritual house,….”
So what are some things we need to do as Christians so we don’t hinder our sanctification process?
Immediately stop anything God has revealed to us that He is displeased with.
Read your Bible every day
Attend church regularly
Avoid relationships that drag you back into your old ways
Stay away from bad things on the internet. If you can’t control it, then your ‘way of escape’ is to get rid of it.
Guard your speech, & what you listen to other people talking about.
Avoid movies that have ungodly things in it
Ask yourself what you would really do w/ Jesus sitting right next to you.
Because you know He is…remember God is omnipresent…..He is everywhere, all the time.

forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:”
I Pet. 2:12 “Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: (unbelievers) that, whereas they speak against you as
evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.”
Mission of the Church:
Worship God
Evangelize the World
Disciple new believers
Be a unified body of believers

ORGANIZATIONAL CHART
Rom. 12:4-6a “For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many,
are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is
given to us,”
I Cor. 12:7-11 “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit
the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit. To another faith by the same Spirit; to another
the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of
spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues; But all these worketh that one and the
selfsame Sprit, dividing to every man severally as he will.”
#12 Divine ____________________
The act of disobedience in the Garden of Eden opened the door for sickness & physical death.
I Cor. 15:21-22 “Death came through man…...in Adam all die”.
Ex. 15:26 “I am the Lord who heals you.” The best example we have of God being a Healer comes from Jesus. “By his
wounds we are healed” Isa. 53:5
At times, God uses sickness or infirmities to accomplish His purposes.
Sickness can be used to test our ____________________ in God.

Jn. 9:1-3 “And as he passed by, he saw a man blind from his birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, Rabbi, who
sinned, this man, or his parents, that he should be born blind? Jesus answered, Neither did this man sin, nor his parents,
but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”

Christians who are alive will be caught up.
Rev. 20:5 “But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.”
I Cor. 15:42-44 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body”
Romans 14:10 “For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, says the Lord, every
knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.”
Jn. 5:22 says, “For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son;”
I Cor. 3:13-15 “Each one’s work will become manifest; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and
the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a
reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved; yet so as through fire.”
Rev. 1:14 “….& His eyes were like a flame of fire.”

I Cor. 9:25 “And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things.
Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an Imperishable Crown.”
Rev. 19:7-9 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath
made herself ready.8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is
the righteousness of saints. 9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of
the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Rev. 9:6 “And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it: and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from
them.”
Rev. 19:11-21 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and
True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew,
but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of
iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of
heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of
them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat
on the horse, and against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived
them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake
of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth:
and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

and they were judged every man according to their works.

up .
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire
against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a
great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein
shall be burned up.
Once the old earth & heavens are destroyed w/ fervent heat, the ‘city’ will come down out of heaven from God, prepared
as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
Rev. 21:1-3 “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away; and the
sea is no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven of God, made ready as a bride
adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of the throne saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men,
and he shall dwell with them, and they shall be his peoples, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God:”
In this eternal state there is no more devil, nor death, nor sin, nor effect of sin, nor trace of the curse, for God’s marvelous
redemption, planned before the foundation of the world, is now fully & absolutely fulfilled.
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him:” I Cor. 2:9
Rev. 21:6 “…I am the Alpha & Omega, the beginning & the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of life
freely.”
