Key Performance Areas
 To Preparation of Ethernet design as per required COS/QOS for OFC Network
(MPLS/IP/Ethernet). Planning for backhauling of 3G-IP traffic on MOT Transport
from Node-B to RNC Locations.
 3G-MoT report Analysis on weekly basis and action plan if required
 To Plan for IP bandwidth provisioning for various requirement like:
InterMSC/MPBN, GPRS/GBoIP, DCN of TN, GGSN, NLD, etc.
 Preparation of design of DCN and IP Planning for NEC, Ericsson Minilink-TN/E, ECI,
etc.
 To observe the bandwidth requirements on different regions of MPCG & for the
purpose of existing ring shortening and finalise the OFC Requirement to cater for
any bandwidth constraint.
 To plan for OFC Drop nodes on the finalised route to effectively utilise the
Backbone or Intracity bandwidth of the proposed route within one month of route
finalisation
 To prepare the Splicing plan of the fibre at various OFC drop nodes as per the type
of Node to be implemented on fibre.
 To follow up for with Projects and O&M team for completion of Route within 9
months of ROW Approval
 To update the final connectivity diagram on Mapinfo TAB file and MPCG Equipment
connectivity on route completion
 To provision Media within two days of Bandwidth request sheet by releasing BPRF
form, and maintaining the same in database
 To release Ater and A Interface bandwidth augmentation plan as per the plan
released by RF team within a week and taking follow for the same with NOC team.
 To plan for augmentation for any Bandwidth or Ports constraint on existing OFC
routes and equipments.
 To plan for lease line surrendering on the basis of availability of Idea Own media
within one month of route handover to OnM team by Projects team.
Significant Achievements



Planning for backhauling of more than 1800 Node-Bs on MOT architecture on 180
OFC Nodes (with Ethernet capabilities)
GBoIP Implementation in the network ensuring higher uptime and throughput to
end user.
Successfully planned for creating equipment redundancy at critical locations
mainly MSCs, which were earlier not protected.

Awarded the Excellence Award for working out transmission plan for 3G network
in Indore Intracity.
