differential equations (PDEs) for physical problems in complicated geometries. Numerical
solutions of PDEs and integral equations.
Wavelets and multiresolution analysis for signal/image processing and efficient numerical
computation.
Image processing: still and video compression, segmentation, change detection, denoising,
ehnacement, sharpening, super resolution, levelsets methods for image processing, polar
FFT, Radon transform, adaptive transmission over narrow band networks.
Signal processing: speech compression, acoustics signatures using wavelets.
