ED-530 Utilizing Emerging Technologies to Improve Learning
Lesson Abstract: Students will have studied The History of Pop Art, using a CPS, the
students will interact and solve the questions to reinforce what they’ve learned.

Lesson Name:
Pop Art Quiz
Lesson Objective: The students will gain an understanding and appreciation of Pop Art and
its history.
Activity:
After viewing a PowerPoint presentation about Pop Art and discussing
some of it artists and artwork the students will be each be given a CPS.
Each student will have their own CPS registered to them. They will be
given a series of questions for the quiz about Pop Art, artists and artwork.
They will read the questions silently and answer by pressing the
appropriate number or letter on the keypad. The answers will
electronically be saved as data and able to be printed out and viewed
upon completion. The data will show how many where wrong and right
and can also print out individual study guide sheets for each student and
let them know what question they got wrong. (An electronic grade book is
done for you so all the teacher needs to do is print out.)
