Note:
1.
The surety bond must be written on Stamp Paper of worth of Rs. 100/- (for each page) and
attested by the First Class Magistrate / Civil Judge.
2.
Sureties / Guarantors & Witnesses:a. Both the sureties must be permanent employees in BS-17 or above of GC University,
Faisalabad.
b. If the sureties are not permanent employee of the University, the surety bond be got
registered with joint / Sub-Registrar Faisalabad.
c. The Witnesses should also preferably be University employees.
d. A surety / guarantor cannot be a witness, and vice versa.
e. Signatures of the sureties and the witnesses should be same as appended on their CNICs.
3.
Get the surety bond typed on stamp paper. Hand written / hand filled surety bond are not
accepted.
4.
With the surety bond, attested copies of CNICs of the scholar, 2 sureties and 2 witnesses must
be accompanied.
5.
Please read the entire surety bond first before typing it on the stamp paper. In case of

Memorandum of Agreement between Name of employee S/D/O Father’s name, CNIC No.
xxxx-xxxxxxx-x serving as designation in department / office of name of department at Govt. College
University, Faisalabad and the Chancellor of GC University, Faisalabad / Governor of the Punjab, made
on this date date of submission of surety bond.
Name of employee S/D/O Father’s name, CNIC No. xxxx-xxxxxxx-x, R/O Current
Residential Address serving as designation in department / office of name of department at Govt.
College University, Faisalabad (hereinafter referred to as Employee / Scholar) which expression shall
include his / her successors and legal representatives of the first part, as a result of sanctioning study
leave for higher studies i.e. degree programme in subject at name of University where enrolled by the
Chancellor / Governor of the Punjab (hereinafter referred to as the Chancellor / Governor of the Punjab)
which expression shall include his successors-in-office of the other part.
Now, therefore, in consideration for the said sanction of leave the Employee / Scholar agrees and
undertakes as follow:1.
He / she shall faithfully confine to and abide by the instructions issued with regard to his / her
leave during the period of his / her leave for higher studies as mentioned above.
2.
He / she shall confirm his / her leave for the purpose it has been taken / sanctioned and shall not
change it without prior permission of the Chancellor / Governor of the Punjab.
3.
Upon the expiry of leave he / she shall return to Pakistan / University and resume his / her duties
in the department and render his / her services for minimum period of five (5) years on his / her
return from his / her study leave.
4.
In the event of the breach of any of the aforesaid terms the Employee binds himself / herself
firmly to pay on demand a sum of Rupees Five Million (Rs. 5,000,000/-) to the Chancellor /
Governor of the Punjab.
In witness whereof the produces below two sureties who shall be responsible and stand bind by
this agreement and guarantee that the employees shall perform his / her promise and in case he / she fails
to do so the sureties shall pay the Chancellor / Governor of the Punjab the said amount in default of
payment by the employee.
