Attention students: Today you received your tentative schedule for trimester 2. Please understand
that counselors are working to make changes for trimester 2. Please complete a schedule adjustment
request form and turn the form into the main office or the assistant principals offices on the 2nd and
3rd floors DURING your lunch period or after school. We will not accept forms after Thursday,
November 19, 2015. Schedule change request forms will not be accepted during class time.

Kalamazoo Central Music Department presents their musical IN THE HEIGHTS. Performances
continue this Friday through Sunday. General admission tickets are available from any cast member
or at the door. Adults $12, Students/Seniors $10.
[Performances are scheduled for November 20, & 21 at 7:30 PM and November 22 at 3:00 PM in the
Auditorium]

All actors & performers it’s that time again: On December 2nd and 3rd, the KC Theatre Department
will be hosting auditions for the next school play called: Wiley and the Hairy Man. Pick up an audition
packet from Mr. Barrett in studio 533.

French Club meets after school today in room 248.

Jazz Band meets today 2:45-4:00 pm. in the band room.

The MLK Book Bowl is a friendly team competition involving reading, writing and the arts. The
competition includes all students in grades 6 to 12, and it will take place at Western Michigan
University. If you are interested in learning how you can become part of the KCHS MLK book bowl
team come to our final informational meeting today in room #238, from 2:30 - 3:00. Pizza will be
provided to students who show up with a completed permission slip. See Mrs. Sayre or
Mr. McNab for permission slips.

Link Crew is inviting freshmen to come to the cafeteria after school today for Cocoa and Cram! Link
Crew wants to help you study for your finals that start on Thursday. So come to the cafeteria today
and tomorrow for hot cocoa and cramming for exams with your Link Crew leaders!

BPA meeting today in room 128, 2:30. Please bring your dues and money for the Palace Business
Conference. This is the last week I can accept it for the deadline.

Concessions flash sale, everything is $1 or less. Today, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:20-3:00 at
2 locations: the basketball concession stand and in the first floor hall near the AGA room.

Bus tokens with greens slips will be given out in the main office today from 3:15-3:30.

Toys for Tots are being collected in all offices. Bring in a new unwrapped toy to place in one of the
boxes. Show your support

Track & Field pre-season conditioning meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at the weight room from 2:304. Anyone not already participating in a winter sport is welcome!

And as a reminder: Students staying after school must be in a classroom, in tutoring, or with an
athletic coach by 2:30 or you will be asked to leave the building. Again, if you are not in a
designated area by 2:30 you will be escorted out of the building.
