a. SHAWC update- Nutrition Challenge update- Next Meeting is Mach 30,
2015 at 3:45 at HSS room 100.
b. Megan Schaper – Food Service Updatec. CAC for facilities (Ed Poprik) –
i. Security update with local law enforcement and emergency
management
ii. Weather Drills this week (Tornado)
iii. June will give 90%

3. Student Services Updates
a. Emergency Response Updates –
i. PSU/Health Services Ebola meetings – District website Jeanne has
been participating in those meetings and following the PSU
protocol.
b. 2013 PAYS Survey Presentation
i. Signs and Symptoms of Depression response
1. Universal Screening Discussions – Scheduled for April 22,
Working with PSU Cedar Clinic
2. Straight Talk Discussions
3. Continuing with Restorative Practices Training (November
Family Engagement). Will now move forward with Trainthe-Trainer model
4. SWPBS plans in every school – creating District website
5. IMH team meetings –bi-weekly
6. Youth Mental Health First Aide Training March 11 for
School Psychs, Counselors and nurses – will expand to
staff
7. 6-12 grade teachers need to be trained on Suicide – PDE is
creating training
c. Act 126 Mandated Reporting update –
i. Sent information out to Faculty and Staff prior to Christmas break,
updates will go out again.
ii. Clearances update went out middle of March to staff from HR
iii. Working on Volunteer process
d. Straight Talk Task Force
