(3) Description of the institutional grading system:
As a rule, the performance of students are calculated as the result of a mid term exam and a
final exam. Exams are written on previously announced dates. The maximum obtainable mark
in a particular exam is 100. 40 % of the grade obtained in the mid term exam and 60 % of the
grade in the final exam are taken into consideration when the end mark is calculated. The
minimum level to pass the exam is 50. Students who fail in the final exam are given the
opportunity to take part in repetition examinations.
