1. COURSE DESCRIPTION
THIS COURSE WILL HELP STUDENTS TO UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF TIME
VALUE OF MONEY AND LEARN TO HANDLE TIME LINES AS A TOOL TO VISUALIZE
AND ANALIZE FINANCIAL PROBLEMS
2. OBJECTIVES
a. GENERAL.
LEARN TO DEFINE A SERIES OF CONCEPTS, SUCH AS INTEREST, PRESENT
VALUE, FUTURE VALUE, INTEREST RATE, TIME OR PAYMENT PERIOD, AND TO
CALCULATE SIMPLE INTEREST, CONPOUND INTEREST AND CONTINIUOS
CAPITALIZATION METHODS SUCH AS: ANNUITIES, AMORTIZATION AND BONDS.
