Promoted in 1998 to Systems/Network Engineer at SYSCO Food Services of Grand
Rapids, LLC to handle a major systems conversion. Project included complete conversion
of enterprise systems and end-user workstations.
Worked with one other employee to install and implement over 90 PCs in four weeks.
Conversion also entailed complete overall of network architecture from small networking
hubs to Cisco Systems and Nortel Networks switching systems and other networking
hardware.
Handled the supervision and daily support of a 210-plus node network for 2 years.
Functioned as a team leader to oversee employees and make sure project deadlines were
met in a timely fashion during a systems conversion.
Purchaser of network servers, clients, and other networking components.
