Child Health and Disability Prevention
(CHDP) Program - Butte County
The CHDP program provides physical exams for
babies, children, teens and young adults. CHDP
approved provider sites offer health assessments to
identify problems early, begin needed treatment,
and prevent disease and disabilities. Individuals
from birth to 21 years who have full-coverage MediCal are eligible, as are those up to 19 years from lowor moderate-income families. The CHDP health
assessments are FREE.

Remi Vista, Inc. Youth and Family
Services
Remi Vista has many different programs available
for people of all ages struggling with the challenges
of autism and developmentally disabled adults.
Their services include foster care, group homes,
transitional housing, school-based and clinic-based
mental health services, wrap around programs,
supported living, and crisis support services.
Works in partnership with consumers and other
stakeholders to provide services and advocacy
resulting in employment, independent living and
equality for individuals with disabilities. Services are
tailored to each person to help him or her reach
their employment goals. They offer career education
and training, job searching and interview skills, and
career assessments and counseling.
The Office of Clients’ Rights Advocacy (OCRA) is a
statewide office run by Protection and Advocacy Inc.
OCRA will answer questions and find resources for
Regional center consumers and family members.
There is a Clients’ Rights Advocate located at every
Regional center in California. They can help get
services, provide information, training, represent
regional center consumers in hearings, and
investigate complaints about denial of rights in a
facility.
Provides services to families and caregivers of
persons with adult onset, chronic, disabling brain
diseases and disorders, stroke, or acquired brain
injury. Respite offers temporary or intermittent care
for dependent adults in order to provide brief
periods of rest or relief for family members or
guardians who are the regular caregivers.
