Self-Drill Anchor
GSA Specification FF-S-325
Group III, Type 1
The Self-Drill Anchor is a precision-machined combination anchor-drill of high-grade steel, specially tempered to
insure clean, close-fitting holes and plated to resist rust and corrosion. Eight sharp cutting teeth quickly and
accurately drill into masonry materials without fouling. On being driven down on a tapered steel plug, vertical slots
in the shield insure uniform expansion, giving Self-Drill Anchors extraordinary holding power. At the surface end
of the Self-Drill Anchor are internal threads, precision-machined to receive standard machine bolts or machine
screws. Self-Drill Anchors are permanently secured after expansion... though fixtures may be readily removed
and replaced.
BENEFITS:
• Self-drilling action produces accurate hole size, every time
• Quick easy installation
• Dependable, convenient overhead application
• Eliminates use of carbide bits by drilling its own hole
