Description:
1) Define the following words according to the vocabulary list –Hit Parade-pdf— posted
online. (Some of you have already started this list in class).
2) Write two sentences for each word denoting its definition in context. Then go to the web
and find graphics (pictures) that help convey the meaning of each word. Use MSWord to
prepare this assignment; you may use the Clip Art feature in Word or Google images.
You don’t need to print this in color; black and white will do. See the example below.
Squalor: a filthy condition or quality
Sentence 1: During his first semester in college, his roommate
lived in total squalor, leaving dirty laundry, empty soda cans, and
old pizza slices all over the shared areas of the apartment.
