Friends of the Napa River welcome you to
the 17th Annual River Festival featuring
the Napa Valley Symphony presented by
our major sponsor, Target!
Enjoy this day at our beautifully restored Veterans Park and Napa River
Trail. With the completion of the Riverfront project, the Festival is
expanding south of the Third Street Bridge. What a change from what
it was in 1997!

Third Street Bridge. Today, we are celebrating the 17th River Festival
(no festivals in 2001, 2006 and 2007 because of construction activities
for Napa’s Flood Control project) – all conducted by the Maestro! This
will be his final festival as Music Director of the Napa Valley Symphony.
In light of this, please join us in honoring Asher Raboy for his contributions to the River Festival and to the Napa Valley community.
We are collaborating with the Napa Valley Arts Council to bring local
art to the festival. Make sure you visit the Arts Council’s kids’ art and
the Target activity areas. Enjoy the program and the magnificent
fireworks bursting “in-air” above the Napa River!

Taking the identity that I created for this event, I did the production on a variety of sign
types. Here you see branded signs that wrap around several columns that go down a
corridor creating a dazzling entrance into the conference. There are also sponsored signs

As Senior Designer/Art Director for the San Francisco Giants, I managed the club’s retail

Pop-up invitation designed as an all-in-one
piece. When folded, it has mailing label
and is wafer sealed. Opens and assembles
to create a ballpark scene. The reply is
perforated and when detached, folds and
seals like a small envelope.
Created event identity that carried a
sophisticated color pallete and imagery
throughout this invite and other marketing
pieces. Invite designed with a shell and
booklet insert. The shell folds down, is
wafer-sealed and acts as the envelope. The
booklet is 8 pages with conference details.
