While the ad market tumbled last year throughout the media world,
LGBT publications experienced, across the board, a 13.6 percent
growth in advertising revenues (compared to a 15.6 percent loss across

consumer titles in general). Of course, the $349.9 million in LGBT ad
revenue is but a tiny fraction of the $10,533 billion from the whole
industry, but even that figure represents a 377 percent growth since
