The Series 9800 Marine Intercom System is an ideal
intercom/radio communication solution for the demanding
marine environment. It provides a reliable and effective
solution for the high-noise environments of “Go-fast” and
“Workboats,” as well as other recreational boat applications.

R ADI O C ABLE S
The radio interface cable is a 20 length of 6-conductor (3
twisted pairs), 25 AWG, shielded cord with .260" outer
diameter. It allows a mobile radio source to be connected to
the Series 9800 intercom system and distributed across all
users. Up to two radios can be connected to the system
without additional equipment. Also compatible with SOLO.
P OW E R CABLE
The Power Cable is a 20 length of 2-conductor, 20 AWG,
shielded cord with a .250" outer diameter and includes a 2
amp fuse kit with fuseholder (P/N 40688G-47) to wire in
series with the power line to protect against high-current
fault if only a higher-amperage circuit breaker is available
on-board. Also compatible with SOLO.

The Panel Display Cable connects the U9810PD Remote
Panel Display to the U9800S Master Station, providing the
method of adjusting all feature settings within the system. It
is a 20' length of 8-conductor (4 twisted pair), 25/28 AWG,
shielded cord with .240 outer diameter. Twist-lock, watertight connectors on both ends connect to their respective
modules.
A UXI LI ARY I NP UT CABLE
The Auxiliary Input Cable provides a method of connecting
an external sound source to the Series 9800 intercom system
(i.e., iPod, MP3, CD, marine stereo, etc.). It comes in a 20'
length of 4-conductor (2 twisted pair), 28 AWG, shielded
cord with .175 outer diameter. A twist-lock, water-tight
connector for mating to U9800S Master Station is on one
end, and a 3.5mm stereo plug for auxiliary input is on the
other end. A separate 3.5mm to dual-RCA adapter cord is
also included. Also compatible with SOLO.

different installation requirements
Panel-Mount System Cable assemblies are available in
straight lengths of 10, 20 and 30 feet, with keyed breakaway connectors on user end for connection to Series 9800
Headsets or U9800 Series Belt Stations. The break-away
connectors allow the user to disconnect with 12lbs. of pull
force and prevent damage or injury from an overboard
headset. The headset jack is also threaded to optionally
accept the headset connectors threaded collar for a locked
connection should the break-away option not be desired.The
system end is terminated with a twist-lock, water-tight
connector mating to the U9800S Master Station. Number
after dash indicates length in feet.
