Brand New Street/Breakdancing After School Club
Leon ‘Boogie’ Heywood, the lead choreographer of the
dance group TRINITY WARRIORS (from Sky One’s
‘Got to Dance’ and ‘Ashley Banjo’s Secret Street Crew’)
has recently opened a local Dance Academy, with the
group and they are now in the exciting position to run
an after school club at Chellaston Infant School,
teaching the basics in Street/Breakdance.
The sessions are designed for each child to:
1. Enjoy themselves
2. Gain confidence
3. Boost team work skills
4. Exercise in a fun way
5. Dance to cool music
The classes will run every Monday afternoon for 1 hour and will cost £3.50 per
child per session. The first club will start on Monday 21st January until Monday
25th March 2013 at 3.45pm-4.45pm. Places will be given on a first come first
serve basis, there are 25 places available. You will be informed via text
message if your child has a place in the club. The club will be running sessions
until the end of the year and we will be changing the groups every half term so
your child should have a place at some stage.
Please DO NOT send in money with the reply slip as places are not guaranteed
until you receive a text. Payment must be given to the club leader on the first
class if your child is successful.
No special equipment is needed, just a PE kit, water bottle and LOTS of
energy!!!
If your child would like to take part in the Trinity Warriors Street/Breakdancing
Club, please fill in the slip below and hand in to your child’s class teacher by
Wednesday 16th January.
