Duties and Responsibilities:
I am currently working as operator, I carefully monitored packing, code dating, and labeling of
product to reduce customer returns, prevent production errors, and save the company money. I
ensured products met required standards through inspections of raw materials and finished
products. I identified changes in materials and production procedures and prepared the team for
the revisions. I also maintained data and records for evaluation and quality of raw materials used
for production. I do monitored machines and equipment and ensured the systems are in good
working conditions. I kept working area clean and organized and I maintained harmonious
relationship with my co-workers, supervisors and with my employer.
As for my caregiving skills, during my on-the job training while taking my six months caregiver
course, I was exposed in an institution with patients with different personalities, ages and
diseases.
I took care for both disabled children and elderly with ages between 5-54 years old. Some who
are respiratory ill patients, diabetes, stroke, immobile or bedridden patient. Other cases of the
patients that I am taking care of are suffering with dementia, Parkinson disease and patient with
depression.
I assist patients with their daily needs and activities. I feed them meals 3x a day aside from
snacks in between meals. I also assist the patients in taking their shower, changing and putting
their clothes on, changing their diaper, giving their medicine, massage and back clapping and
help the patient to move from bed to wheelchair and vice versa. I also conduct suction when
patients has problem of too much phlegm. As a nursing aide, usually it takes a lot of patience in
taking care of elderly patient because of their age and health problem they are very irritable
sometimes and cranky.
