(AAHD/MSU),andWillBanks(ECU)tosupportdevelopmentandtesting.
CDQPODCAST
• AspartofmyincomingBookEditorpositionatCommunicationDesignQuarterly
(CDQ),Iamtakingtheleadondevelopinganewpodcastseries.Theserieswill
interviewauthorswhosebookswe’vereviewedforthepublication.Eachpodcast
willbepublishedquarterly.Aspartofthiswork,IamoverseeingBrookeChambers
asthePodcastProductionAssistant.BrookeisanMAstudentinWRAC.Weare
producingthepodcastsourselves,seekingtodevelopaauralstyleguideand
templatefortheseries.Wearealsoplanningaresearchprojectaboutdeveloping
thesesoundartifacts.

• Thisprojectiscurrentlyunderdevelopment.Themainfunctionofthetechnologyis
toenhancepreschoolteacherandparentcommunicationaboutachild’shabitsand
daysatschoolasawaytocreateuniformityforfamilies.Wearecurrentlyreviewing
theliteratureandpreparinganIRBtostudytheproject.
