Pre-Con Builders constructed Asian Cuisine restaurant “Hu’s on First” as part of the expansion
of CanWest Global Stadium. Pre-Con Builders led the design effort, starting with negotiations
with the City of Winnipeg to relocate Water Avenue as part of the Provencher Bridge project,
almost two years prior to construction start. The entire phase III project spanned over the
winter of 2002 – 2003 and was completed on schedule in spite of a delayed start and extremely
harsh winter.
