AQWF Vocabulary Summative Assessment
Deadline for Reassessment: Monday, September 28
STEP #1: In order to reassess:
All missing and/or incomplete formative assessments MUST be completed thoroughly and
sincerely.
- You must ask Mrs. Shaw if you can reassess, and it is to her discretion based on the above
requirement.
- You must complete the assigned, below required extended study for the section (s) that you want
to reassess.
*Please note: you can only reassess a summative assessment (any of these sections) once.
STEP #2: Complete the below requirements for extended study:
1.
Make flashcards for all vocabulary words listed below. Flashcards must include both the
definition and a picture that illustrates/represents the term’s meaning.
2. Re-read the handout on our class website under “Class Notes/Annotations” for how to create
context in a sentence.
3. Write a sentence exhibiting context and correct usage for each vocabulary word. These sentences
should not be the original sentences that you used when you did Formative Assessment #1. These
sentences should also be YOUR OWN. You may type these in MLA format.

KEEP IN MIND that it is entirely up to the discretion of Mrs. Shaw to determine
if your work accurately indicates your readiness to reassess. Any inaccurate or incomplete work will be
returned to the student for further review before the re-assessment can be scheduled.
