purchases between Wednesday 1st May 2013 and Wednesday 31st July 2013 inclusive.
2) Complete this form in BLOCK CAPITALS and post it back to arrive before midnight 31st
August 2013 to Canon UK Summer 2013 Cashback, 1st Floor, 277-281 Oxford Street,
London, W1C 2DL, with a photocopy of your till receipt, or order confirmation for internet
purchases, on purchases made between Wednesday 1st May 2013 and Wednesday 31st
July 2013 inclusive.
3) Download a printable copy of the claim form at
www.canon.co.uk/summercashback or www.canon.ie/summercashback
and follow the process in point 2 above.
Please note cashback will be provided via Bank Transfer (BACS) only. A valid European serial

Canon (UK) Summer 2013 Cashback promotion Terms & Conditions
1. PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS, PROMOTIONAL PERIOD AND PARTICIPANTS
1.1. This promotion is only available on purchases of the products listed (the
“Promotional Products”) within the United Kingdom (“UK”) & Republic of
Ireland (“ROI”) from a UK or ROI retailer between Wednesday 1st May 2013 and
Wednesday 31st July 2013 inclusive (the “Promotional Period”). Promotional
Products can be sold as a camera body only or part of a lens kit or bundle.
1.2. All Participants must be aged 18 or over and must be resident in the UK & ROI
(“Participant”).
1.3. All Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and
conditions.
1.4. All products must be from a UK or ROI retailer and must be European stock
i.e they must have been supplied and distributed to retailers by Canon UK Ltd or
Canon group companies located in the European Economic Area or Switzerland.
Please check with your retailer that this is the case to help avoid disappointment.
1.5. All products must be new and genuine Canon products. Purchases of second
hand, refurbished or reconditioned products, or products which are counterfeit or
infringe the intellectual property rights of the Canon group of companies in any way
(including but not limited to parallel or “grey” products) will not qualify under this
promotion.
1.6 . Specific seller exclusions: Products purchased from ebay, whether listed as
new or otherwise, will not be eligible for this promotion. Products purchased from
third party sellers on Amazon (i.e not from Amazon directly) whether fulfilled by
Amazon or not, will not be eligible for this promotion.
2.8. Only one claim per product purchased may be made. However there is a
Bonus £30.00/€40.00 Cashback payment for a Participant who purchases 2
Promotional Products in the same transaction.
2.9. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.
2.10. Claims by companies, businesses or individuals who make bulk purchases
(i.e more than 10 products) will not be eligible to enter this Promotion.
2.11. This promotion cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other promotion
by the Promoter.
2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
2.1. The Participant must purchase a Promotional Product(s) within the UK or ROI
from a UK or ROI retailer during the Promotional Period AND submit a valid claim
between Wednesday 1st May 2013 and midnight on Saturday 31st August 2013.
2.2. Claims must be submitted by fully and correctly completing (including
specifying a valid European product serial number(s)) a claim form available either:
(i) from retailers; or
(ii) which can be downloaded from www.canon.co.uk/summercashback or www.
canon.ie/summercashback; or
(iii) by contacting Canon’s claims handling agency by using the contact details
specified in clause 2.3 below.
2.3. The Participant must then send the completed claim form by post, together
with a copy of the receipt or printed order confirmation for internet purchases
to the following address: Canon UK Summer 2013 Cashback, 1st Floor ,
277-281 Oxford Street, London, W1C 2DL. Copy receipts will not be returned.
Alternatively, Participants can register online and scan, upload and attach a copy
of their receipt, or order confirmation, to the online claim form. Please refer to the
online claim form for tips on how to complete this process. Illegible or damaged
receipts will not be accepted.
2.4 The Promotional Products are subject to availability while stocks last. Products
will be sold by retailers strictly on a first come first served basis. The Promoter will
not be liable for the failure of retailers to fulfil orders of Promotional Products during
the Promotional Period. Not all product types will be available in all stores.
2.5. Canon will not process any claims received after the closing date of midnight
on Saturday 31st August 2013. Canon will not process claims which are
incomplete or illegible, and accepts no responsibility for claims lost, delayed or
damaged in the post.
2.6. Canon will endeavour to issue a transfer via BACS within 28 days of receipt of a
complete and valid claim.
2.7 Where a Participant fails to select one of the currencies offered on the claim
form, one may be allocated at the absolute discretion of the Promoter.
4. THE PROMOTER
4.1. The Promoter is Canon (UK) Ltd. of Woodhatch, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 8BF.
Claims must NOT be sent to this address, but to the Promoter’s claims handling
agency at the address specified in 2.3.
3. CASHBACK AND ADDITIONAL £30/€40 CASHBACK BONUS
3.1. Participants will receive cashback in the amounts shown for purchases of
Promotional Products. However, if Participants purchase 2 Promotional Products
on the same day from the same retailer in the same transaction, they will receive
one additional £30 /€40 cashback bonus payment. So, for example, if a Participant
purchases a Compact Camera PowerShot SX280 HS £30/€40 and a PIXMA Inkjet
MG5450 £20/€25 in the same transaction, they could be eligible to receive
£30/€40 plus £20/€25 = £50/€60 plus £30/€40 cashback bonus = £80/€100.
3.2. Participants will receive their cashback in the form of a BACS transfer payment
ONLY. No alternative arrangement will be entered into. No cash or cheque will be
provided.
3.3. Only one BACS payment will be issued per valid claim.
3.4. It is the responsibility of the Participant to pay any administration charges
levied by Banks in the Republic of Ireland due to BACs transfer payments.
5. DISCLAIMERS
5.1. Canon (UK) Ltd shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature
howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under this promotion. However,
nothing in these rules shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon’s
liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of Canon’s
employees or agents.
5.2. Canon (UK) Ltd shall not be liable for any failure to fulfil this offer where such
failure is caused by any supervening circumstances amounting to force majeure
being an event(s) which, without the fault of either party, render performance
impossible or incapable of satisfactory execution.
5.3. Canon reserves the right to void, amend, and/or change this promotion at any
time and change the conditions without incurring any liability whatsoever.
6. DATA
6.1. Where applicable any data captured during the course of the promotion will be
collated, accessed, processed and stored wholly in accordance with applicable local
Data Protection Laws and Regulations.
6.2. If Participants do not wish for their contact information to be used for
marketing purposes or to enable Canon to contact them in future regarding similar
promotions, they should NOT check the relevant “opt-in” box when completing the
claim form.
7. LAW AND JURISDICTION
7.1. These terms and conditions and any disputes arising out of or in connection
with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of
England and will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
