Certified 25-yard pool, 8 racing lanes to be used. The water depth at the start end is 7’ to 12’. A buffer
lane is provided with multiple lanes for continuous warm-up and warm-down.

You may submit a Hy-Tek entry file via email to Eva in place of the SW3 form .
Entries failing to make the deadline may result in not being entered in the meet. Follow all
FHSAA protocols for official entries. Relay cards will be provided the morning of meet.
A student athlete whose name was not originally submitted on the official entry list is not
eligible to participate in the district meet until the additional of his or her name is
approved by the FHSAA office.
Each team is allowed a maximum of 4 swimmers per event; each contestant shall be limited to a
maximum of 4 events, whereby no more than two may be individual events. Follow all rules of the
2015-2016 NF rules book and the FHSAA Swimming & Diving Manual.

Relays:
Any swimmer on your Master Entry form (SW3) may be eligible for a relay. Prior to the
start of the relay events, you must turn in your relay card listing your relay swimmers. Relay card must
also designate the name of the lead-off swimmer who actually swims in the lead-off position. You may
list up to 8 swimmers. Be sure to identify which ones will be swimming prelims and finals. Reminder:
You MAY NOT scratch a swimmer from an individual event in order to swim an additional relay.
Scratches:
A contestant who is entered and does not show up/scratches at the time of the preliminary event or
does not show up/scratches for a final event shall be disqualified for the remainder of the meet.
**Once the competitor's name has been entered for the event, he/she is charged with that event.
207.02 Failure to Appear and Compete. Meet Regulations, 207.01 (3) (a) Scratched Contestant. A
contestant who is entered into an individual event in the FHSAA State Swimming & Diving Series on
any level and is later scratched from that event will be disqualified from participating in all remaining
events in that meet as an individual on succeeding levels in that event.

Areas will be designated after entries are received based upon team size. A map will
be provided on or about October 20th and also available in coach’s packets.
Timers:
Each team will provide two (2) names for volunteer timers to Robert Rasmussen @
rasmussen_r@hcsb.k12.fl.us by Tuesday, October 20th. Free admittance at gate to only
volunteers that have submitted their names in advance. Teams also provide own watches.
Deck Passes:
Wristbands will be issued only to athletes, coaches, and volunteers for deck accessibility

From South – From SR-50/Cortez and US 19, Take US 19 North for about 25.3 miles; turn right onto
W.Godfrey lane , travel 1.5 miles then make a right onto N. Lindberg Terrace for 465 ft, and stay on N.
Lindberg Terrace for 0.1 then turn Left onto W. Bientennial Park Drive and the pool will be on the
right.

Procedure:
Boys and Girls may run concurrently. Diving referees will have the discretion to make any
necessary changes in compliance of the rules to permit and ensure safe and continual
competition.

Note: Each listed optional dive must represent all five diving categories; All divers must
meet NF standards and regulations in addition to the FHSAA Swimming & Diving Manual.

Below you will find everything you need to know about district diving competition, and what requirements your
divers must meet in order to be eligible to compete. Divers that do not meet these qualifications should not be
entered into this competition, not only do they waste time, they also pose a safety issue. If it is found that a diver
does not meet these requirements they will not be allowed to participate in these meets.
In order to properly enter your athletes into the district competition TWO 11-dive, dive sheets must be filled out
correctly for each meet. Attached you will find a copy of the approved FHSAA 11-dive, dive sheet. In order to fill out
the sheet properly these rules must be followed:
-Dives 1-5: Include 2 voluntary and 3 optional dives
-Dives 6-8: Include 2 voluntary and 1 optional dives
-Dives 9-11: Include 1 voluntary and 2 optional dives
-THE TOTAL DEGREE OF DUIFICULTY FOR THE VOLUNTARY DIVES MAY NOT EXCEED 9.0
-At least 1 dive from each of the 5 dive groups (forward, back, inward, twister, reverse) must be present in dives 1-8
-Circle all voluntary dives.
-Be sure to complete all information on the sheet.
-Both the coach and the diver must sign the sheet before submitting.
*Dive sheets must be turned in at the beginning of warm-ups, no later than 30 minutes before the meet starts. Late
dive sheets will not be reviewed and athletes will not be allowed to compete
To advance from districts to regionals divers must meet these qualifications per FHSAA ruling.
(c) Diving Competition. Twenty-four (24) contestants may advance from district
meets to the correlating regional meets in diving competition as follows: the first two
(2) places in diving competition from each district meet, provided the diver has a minimum
qualifying score of 280.0 points in district competition. Any remaining available
spaces shall be filled on an at-large basis from all competing divers who placed in the
top eight in their respective district meets comprising the region and met the minimum
qualifying score of 280.0 points for a field of 24. In the event of a tie for the last at-large
qualifying place to the regional meet, all of the competitors tied shall be allowed
to advance to the regional meet.
(d) Qualifying times/scores for at-large entries into the regional meet will be
posted on FHSAA.org after all districts in that region have reported their results.

- Miss individual event, out of the meet
