So how does the Morrisby Profile work?
Firstly, don’t panic! It’s not
like an exam and you don’t
need to do any research or
homework beforehand
On the day of your
assessment you’ll be given
a series of short paper
and pencil exercises. You
don’t need any special
equipment – not even a
calculator
It takes about three
hours with a short break
in the middle
The Morrisby Profile assessments look at:
• general reasoning: dealing with
new problems
• verbal ability: understanding the
meaning of everyday words
• numerical ability: how you deal
with mathematical information
• perceptual ability: interpreting
diagrammatic information
• spatial ability: how good you are
at visualising things in three
dimensions
• mechanical ability: your
understanding of simple
mechanical ideas
• other relevant skills for the
workplace
