Day 2: Chiang Mai (Full day)

After breakfast, pick up you from your hotel and drive through the picturesque Mae Sa valley to an
elephant camp, set in a beautiful, serene, jungle area. One of the highlights of your visit is to watch the
elephants taking their morning bath in the stream, before starting their daily training and work. Along with
their trainers, the elephants will demonstrate a number of skills. You may take the opportunity to feed
them bananas or sugarcane, their favorite treats. Top off your visit with a 50 minutes elephant ride into the
surrounding forest – a wonderful, adventurous experience. Before returning to Chiang Mai, you will also
visit an orchid farm.
Lunch at Local restaurant.
Continue drive to the mountain temple of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the most famous landmark of Chiang
Mai situated 1,676 metres above the city. Climb up the staircase adorned with imposing looking Nagas-the
mythical Thai water spirits - to visit the exquisite golden pagoda. The sound of temple bells fills the air and
the view overlooking the city makes an irresistible photo opportunity. Afterwards, drive up the mountain
by 'songthaew' onto a rough dirt road and stop for a local cup of ‘Arabica’ coffee. This coffee is grown
locally as part of the Chang Khien Coffee Research Project. Continue to the White Hmong village of Chang
Khien where the 800 inhabitants still wear their traditional hill tribe clothes and practice a culture that
dates back 500 years.
Return back to your hotel.

The tour price does not include personal insurance so we highly recommend you to take your own
insurance before your departure covering also the cost of medical evacuation by air.

Exotissimo Travel does everything to provide accurate quotes for all our travel products. However,
fares and rates for airline tickets, hotels and other travel service providers fluctuate regularly. We
recommend immediate payment to guarantee quotes. Rates will be rechecked at time of
payment and any increase (fares, rates, taxes, etc.) is due and payable regardless of earlier
quotations.
Documentation
You will need a passport valid for six months and appropriate visas to enter our countries. Exotissimo
Travel cannot accept responsibility if you are refused entry to a country because you lack the correct visa
documentation.
GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS
Reservation
Reservations are to be made directly to our office. Upon confirmation of a reservation, a 30% (thirty
percent) deposit is requested, and the total package tour price for the Services should be paid at least 30
days (thirty days) prior to client's arrival in the destination country or starting date of the tour, or
otherwise Exotissimo Travel may at their sole discretion cancel the bookings without any refund of sums
already paid to Exotissimo Travel by the Client.
Payment
Payment can be made by cash, bank transfer or credit card. Full payment is required 30 days prior to
arrival. If booked less than 30 days from arrival, full payment is required immediately. Any bank charges
levied by the sending bank relating to transfers to Exotissimo must be paid by the Client/Agent.
Cancellations:
Any cancellations should be made in writing. Cancellation fees will not be charged for any bookings as less
than 30 days or more prior to the arrival of clients unless there any charges or prepayments are due
according to the policies of hotels airlines, cruises' and other contractor’s of Exotissimo.
If cancellation is made after full payment has been made, we will hold is a full credit to be used for further
bookings (less any charges levied by hotels, carriers and other contractors of Exotissimo Travel.

Special conditions
Exotissimo reserves the right to change these cancellation conditions depending on airlines, hotels and
cruises’ cancellation policies. We will inform you in writing in case the above conditions need to be
modified.
Claims
All disputes, claims and litigation regarding the Services shall first be settled by way of negotiation and
mutual understanding. In the event such negotiation and mutual understanding would fail, the disputes,
claim or litigation shall be finally settled by local arbitration in Thailand. All claims must be submitted in
writing within 30 days after the end of the Services.
Disclaimer
In case of sudden price increases or surcharges levied by suppliers such as, but not limited to, fuel
surcharges, government tax increases or other unforeseen price increases, Exotissimo reserves the right to
alter the price quoted in this document or the conditions mentioned.
Exotissimo Travel also reserves the right to change any arrangement (including tours, programmes, prices
and services) in the best interest of its Client, with or without prior notice.
