Bachelor’s degree required from the following disciplines:
- Any Engineering discipline
- Computer Science
- Mathematics
- Physics
MS in Computer & Information Science:
Students with a Bachelor’s degree from any other discipline with work experience in the computing field may
be considered. All students must have knowledge of programming (fluency) in at least one general purpose
programming language, i.e. Java, C, C++ or C#.

Admission is department specific and non-transferrable between programs

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 based on all courses taken while in the PMP program at UMass Dartmouth, at most one grade below B- and no
grade of C- or below.

Some programs allow the use of a limited number of UG technical electives towards MS requirement.

The number of credit hours required after PMP depends on the degree option and number of transferrable courses taken during PMP.
No grade below a B may be transferred into the Master’s program.

MS in Mechanical Engineering requires 30-33 credits for Master’s Degree
