Attend one Sport Management Information Session


*All students must attend one information session before applying to the major.
Complete two Sport Management core predictor courses. Students should earn a GPA of 3.0 or higher in
these courses.


SPORTMGT 200 or 202
SPORTMGT 210
Complete two predictor course from the list below (one must be MATH 121 or higher). Students should
earn a GPA of 3.0 or higher in these courses.




MATH 121 or higher (required to apply)
ECON 103 or RES-ECON 102
ECON 104
STATS 240 or RES-ECON 212
Achieve an overall cumulative GPA that is acceptable to the Sport Management Application Review Committee

While every semester’s pool of applicants is evaluated independently, the academic measures of
recent pools provide guidance when determining the GPA that is acceptable to the Sport
Management Review Committee. Although it doesn’t guarantee admission a minimum GPA of 3.2
or higher is recommended.
Our online applications can be accessed in November and April. All applications must be submitted
online by 5PM on December 1st or May 1st.
