The Luxottica group, parent company of LensCrafters, will hold its Fourth Annual Eye Run
Walk on April 21st, 2012 at 8:30 am. The location of this event will be 100 Greenwood
Industrial Parkway, McDonough, Georgia. The proceeds from this run/walk will be used to
support the OneSight charitable programs; which is dedicated to improving the vision of
those in need through outreach, research, and education. Members of the Clayton County
Public Schools Social Work Department will participate in this annual Eye Run to support the
OneSight charitable programs.
As one of our community partners, the Luxottica group has provided free eye examinations
and eye wear to more than six hundred Clayton County students through its Gift of Sight
Program over the past six years. We ask that you support us in this event by providing your
monetary donations/pledges to this site, http://onesight.donordrive.com. Once the
OneSight page is retrieved you may either join our team or provide your donations to
members of our team by clicking on “4th Annual Eye Run” under the “Events” box. From this
site, click on the “Donate to this Event” button and the “Make a Donation” screen will
appear. Just type our team’s name- Clayton County School Social Work Dept - and click
the “Search” button. Once retrieved, a message will appear under the search box that will
allow you to become a new member to our team or provide your donations to members of
our team until April 19, 2012, 12:00 AM.
The School Social Work Department would like to thank you in advance for utilizing this
opportunity to support the OneSight/Gift of Sight Program which is committed to serving
students in our community. With your help, we will exceed our goal and continue to support
students’ success in school!
