Clubhouse and Ground Rules
1. High standards of conduct and appearance are required from members, family and their guests. Members,
their families and their guests are expected to conduct themselves in such a manner as not to interfere in any
way with the rights, privileges or enjoyment of club facilities by other members, their families, or their
guests.
2. Vulgar or profane language or offensive or boisterous conduct on club premises is prohibited.
3. No cash may be accepted from members or guests for goods and services of any department of the Club.
Exception, Golf Shop operation may accept cash or credit card. All charges must be signed personally by
the member or a member of his immediate family. Arrangements for guests to sign on the member’s account
may be made through the Club Manager.
4. No gratuities shall be offered or accepted by any employee of the Club except during the month of
December.
5. The use of cellular phones is prohibited on RHCC property except in the locker rooms (not the card
rooms), inside the halfway house, the restrooms at hole # 6/#15, and the parking structure next to the golf
shop. Members and guests may use the Club’s phones in the golf shop, locker rooms, main lobby, or
halfway house. In addition, the player’s assistant will have a cell phone that will be available in the event of
an emergency. If you must be reached while on the golf course, you may instruct the caller to contact the
golf shop and they will send a player’s assistant to you.
Dress Code:
RHCC dress code requires grooming and attire for members and guests to be appropriate and in good taste at all
times. The Board of Directors has instructed management to enforce and deny service to all members and
guests not conforming to these dress standards:
• Halter tops, belly shirts, midriff blouses/shirts, swimming attire, and flip flops are prohibited for both
males and females on Club’s property.
• Jeans Policy –
1. Denim “in good taste” will be permitted in all areas of the clubhouse excluding
the main dining room.
Definition of Denim “In good taste”:
Denim must be “tasteful” and “in good repair” as follows:
No holes, rips, tears, tatters, or frays.
No acid washed denim.
No hand written messages, pictures or inappropriate messages.
No visible undergarments. No midriff.
No baggy or sagging denim or slacks.
No denim shorts of any kind.
2. Acceptable denim: Denim worn as slacks. Capri pants are considered slacks. Levis in good repair
and skirts that are tasteful.
3. Denim is not permitted in the main dining room, on the golf course or practice facilities.
• Shoes/sandal must be worn at all time on Club’s property except for inside the locker rooms. Flip flops
are prohibited.
• Spiked shoes, stocking and bare feet are prohibited on the upper level in the dining room and cocktail
lounge.
• Men and boys are required to wear collared shirts, short/long sleeved shirts, or mock t-shirts at all times.
T-shirts of any other types are prohibited. All shirts must be tucked in at all times on the golf course,
driving range, and putting green. Shirts that are meant to be worn outside (i.e. Tommy Bahamas) may
be worn outside on the upper level of the clubhouse. Slacks and Bermuda style shorts (6” or less above

the knee) are acceptable on the golf course, driving range, and putting green – shorts are not allowed in
the main dining room. Men are prohibited from wearing caps or hats on the upper level of the clubhouse.
Slacks, skirts, dresses, shorts (6” or less above the knee), culottes, and capris are acceptable attire for
women on the golf course, practice range, and putting green.
Board shorts, basketball/baseball shorts/uniforms, and gym shorts are prohibited.
Tennis players may wear tennis attire only on tennis courts, mixed grill, and ground level of the
Clubhouse. Warm-up suits or ladies’ wrap-around skirts must be worn in the Bar area after 6:00 p.m.
General Rules & Guidelines
1. Minors, under 16 years of age, must be accompanied by an adult when in the cocktail lounge.
2. Card playing is restricted to the downstairs men’s and ladies’ lounges.
3. Only Club’s material may be posted on Club property.
4. Minors under 13 years of age are not permitted the use of downstairs locker rooms except in the
company of a guardian or a staff member.
5. All non-member events must be sponsored by members.
6. Arrangements for reservation of the dining room or other Club facilities for private parties may be
made with the Club Manager or Banquet Director.
7. Dogs, cats or other pets are not permitted in or on Club premises.
8. Although the Club takes every measure to provide a safe and healthy environment to its members and
their guests, the Club assumes no liability for injury to any member or his/her guest/s. Furthermore,
the Club assumes no liability of loss or damage to their properties.
9. No Club member or guest shall be permitted to send an employee off the Club’s premises for any
purpose, nor shall a member or guest may personally reprimand a Club employee. Complaints
regarding conduct, attitude, or actions of any employee shall be made in person or writing to the Club
Manager.
10. No member or guest shall remove any article or property belonging to the Club.
11. Members are liable for damages caused to Club’s property by themselves, their guests, or their
family.
12. No member shall make an offer of employment to any Club’s employee nor shall any employee
solicit such employment, without first consulting with the Club Manager.
13. Changing clothing or footware outside the locker rooms, including parking lots, is prohibited.
14. Golf bags and golf clubs are not to be stored in the lockers or brought into the locker rooms, card
room or clubhouse.
15. Members and guests are not permitted to bring their own food or drinks on the Club’s premises.
16. Immediate relatives of a member may not be employed by the Club in any capacity.
17. Smoking is prohibited inside the clubhouse and golf shop.
Golf Rules:
1. Players may not start on the course prior to checking in with an employee on duty.
2. Each individual is responsible for seeing that his or her group does not fall behind or hold up any following
groups. Each group is required to average no more than 14 minutes per hole, or 4 hours for 18 holes.
3. Club property must be protected at all times. Causing such damage by means other than normal play can
subject the player to reprimand, suspension or fine or a combination of these, at the discretion of the Board
of Directors.
4. No player or employee is to attack, injure, or otherwise harass wildlife on the course, except in a gentle
herding manner designed to remove them from the path of play or from a position in which they might be
accidentally injured in the course of play.
5. Any damage to the golf course noted or caused by a player must be repaired prior to moving on. This
applies to all divots in the fairways or rough, and all ball and spike marks on the greens.
6. Players are expected to pick up tees after driving and to discard broken tees in trash receptacles.
7. After playing from a sand bunker, players shall smooth and tidy up the conditions of that bunker before
departing the hole. When finished, players shall place all associated rakes outside of all bunkers.
8. Only soft spike golf shoes or spikeless athletic shoes may be worn on the golf course and practice areas.
Steel spiked golf shoes and other shoes (such as high heels) with the potential to damage the course or
practice areas are prohibited.
9. Practicing on the golf course is normally not permitted. Only with prior coordination and approval of golf
shop personnel can exceptions be granted. That a player was permitted to do so shall be noted on the starter
sheet.
