1. Course Objectives & Description
1)Course objectives
The goal of this course is to provide students with spoken English communication
ability with which they can debate on various controversial topics by expressing their
viewpoints on them and listening to the partner.
2)Course Description
This course will begin with two oral presentations on a controverisal topics, followed
by one-to-one debate on the same topic in each class. Each student will make
three-minute, five-minute speeches during the midterm and final exam period with
individual interview on the topics covered during each half of the semester.
*Each student must have an intermediate or advanced English communication ability.
