2013-2014 Course Chart
Post Secondary Institute Courses Recognized As Pre-Requisite Studies

This chart is designed to help you plan your studies so that you can complete all the CMA Required Topics. By
successfully completing all the CMA pre-requisite courses while completing your degree, you can be exempted
from the CMA Entrance Examination the year you graduate.
The BAFM and MAcc programs at the University of Waterloo together form an Accredited Program and a Combined
Program. Through this program, completion of all the courses listed below with an overall 75% average for all CMA
required courses and a minimum grade of 60% in each undergraduate CMA required course provides a waiver of the
CMA Entrance Examination for a period of three years from date of graduation.
The minimum grade required in each prerequisite course is a grade of 60% (undergraduate courses), 70% (graduate
courses) or a passing grade in the course, whichever is higher. Please refer to the CMA Ontario website for additional
details.
