day, evenings and Saturdays, send reminder letters and warn
debtors in writing before reporting them to the national credit
bureaus. If necessary, we’ll reassign accounts to our out-ofstate affiliates.
When customers respond, we make it easy for them to pay
with credit cards, Western Union Quick Collects, electronic
funds transfer from banks, and walk-in payments. If
necessary, we’ll even pick up checks.
As a last resort, we may forward the account to an attorney
for judgment or wage garnishment. If the customer files
chapter 13 bankruptcy, we’ll file proof of claims for you with
the bankruptcy court to ensure that you get a share of any
available monies.
