Job Design and KSAOs
A job design and analysis process identifies the
required attributes – KSAOs – for ideal job
performance in a specific job.
The acronym “KSAO” (Knowledge,
Skills, Abilities and Other) is often
used for all the components for
consideration when examining past
performance and evaluating various
candidates for a given role.
Behavioral assessments like the
Predictive Index® fit in the “Other”
category and offer a powerful, datadriven approach to assessing
potential and performance.
