The UC Davis Quarter Abroad eligibility requirements are:
• Be a registered student at a UC campus- from the date of application through the program end
date;
• Satisfy intercampus visitor requirements (the ICV form and instructions are available in the
"Intercampus Visitor" section of the online enrollment in your UC Davis Study Abroad account);
• Be in good academic standing with a GPA of 2.0 or above;
• Be in good disciplinary standing; and
• Meet any program specific requirements or prerequisites (Check Equivalents below)
AUSTRALIA (Australian Writing and Internship) Prerequisite Equivalents for Other UC Students
Prerequisite: ENL 3 or UWP 1 or equivalent*
Must be in Sophomore Class Standing (45 quarter units) or higher
*Equivalents include: Comparative literature (COM) 1, COM 2, COM 3, Native American Studies 5








UC Berkeley: College Writing Program R4A (Reading and Composition), College Writing Program
1 (Grammar and Vocabulary of Written English)
UC Irvine: Writing 39A (Introduction to Writing and Rhetoric) or equivalent

UC Los Angeles: English 4W (Critical Reading and Writing) or any Writing II courses found here:

UC Merced: Writing 1 (Academic Writing) or Writing 10 (College Reading and Composition)
UC Riverside: English 4 (English Writing)
UC Santa Barbara: English 10 (Introduction to Literary Study), Writing 1 (Approaches to
University Writing)
UC Santa Cruz: Literature 1 (Literary Interpretation) or Writing 2 (Rhetoric and Inquiry)
UC San Diego: Writing/Literature 8A (Writing Fiction), 8B (Writing Poetry), 8C (Writing
Nonfiction)  all require prerequisite of completing their college writing requirements (each
college has different writing requirements)
Revelle = Humanities (HUM) 1 and 2
Warren = Warren College Writing Program (WCWP) 10A and 10B
Thurgood Marshall = Dimension of Culture (DOC) 1, 2 and 3
Sixth = Culture, Art and Technology (CAT) 1, 2 and 3
Eleanor Roosevelt = Making of the Modern World (MMW) 1, 2 and 3
John Muir = Muir College Writing Program (MCWP) 40 and 50
