Note: Be sure to check course timetables when they are published to check for time conflicts.
1. Requires a Math ACT score of 26+, a comparable SAT or KU Math Placement Exam score, or credit for a MATH 101 or 104 equivalent course. MATH 121 can be taken instead of
MATH 115 + 116 to fulfill the math requirement.
2. Concurrent or prior enrollment in CHEM 130 is required.
3. CHEM 135 is offered only in spring; BIOL 570 is only in fall.
4. Second language proficiency/third-level & additional foreign language course.
5. Most medical schools require the full CHEM 330, 331, 335, and 336 sequence and PHSX 114/211+216 and PHSX 115/212+236.
6. Refer to DPR and degree checksheets (humanbio.ku.edu). Completion of 2 of 4 major categories required.
7. ABSC 150 recommended as a KU Core course; ABSC 150 may satisfy 3 h of the "Applied Behavioral Science" major concentration category. Note that ABSC 150 is not Jr/Sr credit.
A minimum of 45 Jr./Sr. hours (300+ level) is required for degree completion.
A minimum of 120 hours is required for degree completion.
