Welcome from the Dean
O
n behalf of the Oklahoma State University (OSU) Graduate College,
welcome to graduate study at OSU! You are embarking on an exciting
period of your life, and we are delighted that you have chosen to join the OSU
community of scholars.
As a graduate student, you are an integral part of OSU’s mission to advance
knowledge, enrich lives, and stimulate economic development through
instruction, research, outreach, and creative activities. Graduate students
teach many of our undergraduate courses and conduct a large portion of our
original research. As a graduate student, you will be exposed to cutting edge
theories, practices, and research findings in your discipline. Many of the
scholarly achievements at Oklahoma State University would not be possible
if it were not for our strong graduate programs.
Your experiences as a graduate student will hopefully be an exciting and fruitful
one that will promote your growth as a scholar. You will learn theories and
methodologies in the classroom and will engage some of the leading researchers
and practitioners in your field. Of course, the hallmark of your graduate experience
will be the research and creative activities that you initiate and conduct as a part of
your degree. These activities may be conducted in the laboratory, in the library, in
an agricultural research plot, at a computer, or on a stage, and they may result in a
life-altering performance or refereed publication. Pursuing a graduate degree will
be a challenging and rewarding experience.
As a new OSU graduate student, you may have lots of questions. Therefore, the
OSU Graduate College presents this Guide to you. It is intended to familiarize you
with aspects of the OSU campus, the academic culture, and the Stillwater and Tulsa
communities, as well as some of the resources available to you. We hope you find it
helpful. If you have questions or concerns not addressed in this Guide, please do not
hesitate to contact the Graduate College.
To ensure the successful completion of a graduate degree, remember you are in charge of
your degree. It is important to become familiar with the steps necessary to complete the
degree requirements. Also, becoming involved in the OSU community is an important
aspect of your professional development. There are many clubs, organizations and
activities available to you. Of particular interest to graduate students is the Graduate
and Professional Student Government Association (GPSGA), which serves as the voice
of the graduate students at OSU. This organization is a powerful advocate for graduate
student issues on campus, and its officers are well-known in the OSU community as
important contributors to the establishment of campus graduate policies and practices.
Please take the opportunity to be involved with GPSGA.
Again, welcome to OSU. I look forward to interacting with you on campus and hearing
about your experiences and accomplishments. I wish you the very best during this
exciting and enriching time of your life.
Sincerely,
Sheryl A. Tucker

For many OSU graduate programs, you
have the choice of taking courses at two
different campus locations — Stillwater
or Tulsa. On the Tulsa campus, most
courses are scheduled with the working
person in mind starting after 4:30 in
the afternoon; however, some courses
are available during the day. A fullservice library with research librarians
for your assistance, high-tech computer
labs, counseling center, health clinic,
writing and math tutoring center, and
fitness center complement the modern
campus. Additionally, there are several
active student organizations at OSU-Tulsa
to enhance networking opportunities and
stimulate activities both on campus and
in the community.
The Tulsa campus is conveniently located
near downtown Tulsa at the intersection
of major highways leading in and out
of the city. It is near the Greenwood
Cultural Center, Brady Arts, and Blue
Dome entertainment districts, which offer
a diverse array of activities for students.
The BOK Center concert arena, the Tulsa
Drillers baseball stadium, the Tulsa Ballet,
Tulsa Opera, Tulsa Symphony Orchestra,
and the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame
are also housed nearby. Adjacent to
the campus is downtown Tulsa which
continues to flourish with new housing,
restaurants, and entertainment venues
for students to enjoy.
Tulsa is Oklahoma’s second largest city
with a population approaching half a
million people. It is a city rich in history

OSU in Tulsa is welcoming to graduate
students. To assist you, the staff of the
Graduate Student Services Center are
available to answer your questions about

Using the library is an essential aspect of
your graduate study. The comprehensive
resources in OSU’s Library will provide
you the help needed to write research
papers and complete class projects.
On the Stillwater campus, the Edmon Low
Library is one of the most distinguished
buildings on campus and has dominated
the center of the campus landscape
since 1953. On the Tulsa campus, the
library is centrally located in Main
Hall on the First Floor. Our libraries
house more than seven million books,
documents, and microforms. Through
the library you can access more than
200 electronic bibliographic databases
which link to millions of full-text, on-line
articles. The following are examples
of databases provided by the library:
Web of Science, LexiNexis, ProQuest
Direct, SciFinder Scholar, PsycInfo,
Compendex, and Early English Books
Online. You can find a complete list
of databases at www.library.okstate.
edu/database/index.cfm. The library
also funds access to more than 60,000
online full text journals. A complete list
of journals is available at www.library.
okstate.edu/ftdb/index.htm. For material
you need which the library doesn’t own,
Interlibrary Loan Service will accept
your online requests for books and
articles. Most articles requested through
Interlibrary Loan can be delivered
electronically to your computer.
As an OSU student, you have access to all
online resources from computers located
in the library or any computer on campus.
If you are researching a paper while
off campus, through library’s website
you can access all on-line materials.
Also, graduate students are entitled to
a 120-day (4 months) checkout period
for books.
If you need a computer while studying
in the Edmon Low Library, you
can checkout one of 150 laptops,
30 ipads, or 20 MacBook Pro’s.
The laptops have wireless access to the
internet anywhere in the building with a
generous five hour checkout period, they
can also leave the building if you want
to use them elsewhere.
The Edmon Low Library is open most
nights until 2:00 a.m. during the fall
and spring semesters. During pre-finals
and finals weeks, it is open 24 hours.
The OSU-Tulsa library is open during
business and class hours on Monday
through Thursday until 10:00 p.m. with
shortened hours during the weekend.
how do you balance school/
work/research/family/life time?
I think it’s really important to keep a
healthy balance between family, work,
school, and social activities. For me,
if one of those starts to dominate too
much then I need to make an adjustment. If you’re organized and efficient,
it’s not too challenging to balance a
full-time job and the MBA program.
things you wish you had done/
known sooner … OSU is a PGAU
school, meaning that they offer noncredit golf classes to students that
are taught by PGA professionals.
The MBA program pays for the PGAU
class which is offered each semester.
I had the opportunity to take it my last
semester at OSU and it tremendously
helped my golf game and was a great
way to meet new people.

residential life
There is no place like home
and during your tenure as a
student at Oklahoma State
University you will need a place
to stay. If you will be moving
to Stillwater or to Tulsa, you
will need to consider local
housing options.
In terms of housing around the
Stillwater campus, there are many
options available to you. As a graduate
student, the choice is yours to live on
campus or off. However, the Graduate
College believes that when you live on
campus, you are given the opportunity
to become a member of an interesting
and unique residential community.
As a member of this community, you
can be an active participant in making
and carrying out decisions affecting
you and the community. Also, living
on campus provides quicker access to
services beneficial to your success such
as recreation facilities, classrooms, labs,
and the Edmon Low Library. Plus, you
don’t have to drive to campus and find
a parking spot.
While the Tulsa campus does not have
residence halls, there are several housing
opportunities located in close proximity
to the campus and throughout the city.
For suggestions, see osu-tulsa.okstate.
edu/services/housing.asp.
If you want to live on campus in
Stillwater, Housing and Residential Life
(reslife.okstate.edu) provides a number
of choices for you to consider. Family
and Graduate Student Housing is home
to seven neighborhoods which house
students with families (students may
be any classification), single graduate
students, and as space is available,
junior and senior level undergraduates.
Apartments are available furnished
and unfurnished, and two and three
bedroom options are offered. Modern
conveniences include cable TV hookups,
high speed internet, laundry facilities,
playgrounds, 24-hour maintenance,
nearby recreation areas, and garden
plots. One bill, which can be charged
to your Bursar account each month,
covers everything including utilities for
the apartments. Also, close by is the
Family Resource Center (reslife.okstate.
edu/frc/) providing all residents of
Family and Graduate Student Housing
after school activities for children,
social programs for families, and a
computer lab.
Twenty-six residence halls offer a
combination of traditional halls and
modern apartment style housing
for co-ed and single-sex living
environments. From double rooms to
suite-style living to private apartments
with full kitchens and utility roomsthey are all available right on campus!
Again, just one bill, which can be
charged to your Bursar account each
semester, covers rent and utilities.
thrift and Second hand Stores
Once you have identified where you want to live, you will probably need to fill it with basic furnishings.
Rather than buying something new, consider the ultimate in “green” living and purchase gently
used pots, pans, clothes, and other items at thrift or second hand stores. The best part is that you can
recycle your purchases when you graduate. Simply donate the items back to the stores so that future
students can benefit!

off campus choices
If you want to live off campus, Stillwater
and the surrounding communities offer
a variety of houses, apartments, and
other living choices. The Off-Campus
Student Association (osuoffcampus.org/
ocsa/) provides a housing guide listing a
variety of off campus living options for
Stillwater. The Housing Guide provides
a list of contacts for apartments, rental
agencies, and housing management
agencies within the city of Stillwater.
This handy guide can help you search
for the right housing as well as provide
helpful hints on how to inspect possible
rental units, a budgeting sheet, and
contact information for local utilities
(e.g., phone, gas, cable, etc.) in
Stillwater.
In Tulsa, there are numerous housing
options with houses and apartments
available close to the campus and
throughout the Tulsa metro area. For
suggestions, see osu-tulsa.okstate.edu/
services/housing.asp.
recreation
We know that as a new student
at OSU you will want to take
part in activities when not
concentrating on your studies.
The recreational facilities are
a perfect outlet for you to
exercise your body when you
are not exercising your mind.
On the Stillwater campus, you will
want to visit the OSU Colvin Center
(campusrec.okstate.edu). This 240,000
square foot facility offers you one of
the best activity centers for sport,
recreation, and fitness in the nation.
The Colvin Center is not your typical
workout facility because it offers stateof-the-art equipment and facilities.
Activity areas available to you include
an indoor climbing wall, indoor and
outdoor swimming pools, gymnastics,
fencing, billiard, dance, golf, table
tennis, wrestling, fitness machines, and
weightlifting. Also, you can use courts
for basketball, volleyball, badminton,
and racquetball. The outdoor facilities
include tennis courts, basketball courts,
archery range, golf driving range,
jogging track, and fields for soccer,
rugby, and football. There are also a
number of fee based classes offered for
you including aerobics, yoga, spinning,
and much more. Another great feature
is it's within walking distance of the
residence halls. Over the weekend, or
in the evening, you can take a break
from your studies and take advantage of
the opportunities offered at the Colvin
Center.
On the Tulsa campus, the Wellness
Center (osu-tulsa.okstate.edu/services/
wellness.asp) in North Hall provides
you all the amenities of an expensive
fitness club. Exercise machines and
weight equipment are available. Also
provided is blood pressure screening,
and health education information.
If you are not sure how to use equipment,
staff will be happy to provide you an
orientation as well as help you create
a customized fitness program.
On the Stillwater campus, consider
participating in the Outdoor Adventure
program (campusrec.okstate.edu/
outdooradventure). Their goal is
to provide opportunities for fun,
adventure, education, and excitement
for you and your family. They sponsor
a variety of regional and national trips
as well as workshops for people at all
skill levels. Past trips include white
water rafting on the Rio Grande in New
Mexico, hang gliding in Oklahoma,
sea kayaking in California, volcano
climbing in Mexico (Popocatepetl and
El Pico de Orizaba). If you want to go
camping or on a picnic with the family,
they also provide rentals on camping
equipment (backpacks, tents, etc.)
and picnic activities (volleyball nets,
tug-of-war rope, canoes) plus many
other items. Whether it is exploring
the Grand Canyon over Spring Break
or spending the day at one of the local
lakes, the Outdoor Adventure program
can help outfit you.
If you are interested in amateur
sports, you might consider organizing
or joining an intramural team.
T he I ntramural Sports office
(campusrec.okstate.edu/intramural)
provides an avenue for teams to compete

What attracted you to oSu
for your graduate studies?
I liked the advisor for my program
and knew of his reputation as an
outstanding researcher in his field.
OSU has advanced facilities for the
Housing Design field. I was offered a
scholarship for students to encourage
higher excellence and I was impressed
with the higher grade of students
I met at OSU.
What is your favorite thing about
oSu? I love the dynamic weather
which is very different from Korea.
OSU and Stillwater are kind, generous,
and patient with international students.
I feel very welcome. The student
leadership is also quite strong. I like
that OSU offers events like Research
Week and the Creativity Competition.
Research Week is a great tradition
and good training for future leaders.
The Creativity Competition is a great
opportunity to apply what we have
learned in academics and research to
contribute to OSU and the community.

If you plan to park on the Stillwater
campus, you will need to explore the
Parking and Transit Services website
(parking.okstate. edu). Parking permits
are required to park on the Stillwater
campus during the day. Different colored
permits signify different areas available
for parking. Parking specifically for
commuting students is available. Students
living in the Residence Halls have parking
all around the residential areas.
In Tulsa, no permit is required to be
purchased to park on campus. There is
ample parking surrounding the campus
buildings. Large parking areas are
available to the west and east from the
center of campus.
Stillwater-tulsa Shuttle
The shuttle service is available to OSU
students, staff and faculty and offers
daily trips (Monday-Friday) between each
campus. Travel on BOB, the Big Orange
Bus, in roomy, comfortable seats and have
no parking hassles. Tickets are available
at the Multi-Modal Transportation
Terminal in Stillwater or at North Hall’s
Information Center on the Tulsa campus.
You may obtain additional information
and specific shuttle schedules by calling

for the Stillwater-Tulsa Shuttle times.
community transit System
If you live in Stillwater, OSU provides
a transit system to get you to campus
and back to your neighborhood.
Multiple routes go through most of
the city neighborhoods and apartment
complexes as well as making stops at
popular shopping locations throughout
town. Buses move through the campus
throughout the day. Current operating
hours are Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. to
10:30 p.m. on campus and until 7:00
p.m. for off campus routes. You may
obtain additional information and specific
route schedules at parking.okstate.edu.
The best part is that as an OSU student,
the transit system is FREE!
In Tulsa, city transit buses are available
to take you around town with multiple
routes available. You can pay cash per
trip or purchase a fare card. Route maps,
fare costs, and other information can
be found on the Tulsa Transit website
(tulsatransit.org).

At Oklahoma State University you won’t
always be in the lab or at the library
studying, and when you are not busy
studying, you will want something to do.
OSU and the surrounding areas offer you
a variety of cultural activities to stimulate
your mind without being a drain on your
money. Here are just a few suggestions.
The Stillwater campus is a busy place
with more than 200 student groups to
keep you active. Each group offers a
variety of activities. For example, through
the efforts of the International Student
Organization (orgs.okstate.edu/iso/)
events such as Diwali Night and Cultural
Night happen each year. Diwali Night
offers students a night of Indian music,
dancing and food. Cultural Night allows
each of our international student groups
the opportunity to show off their musical
talents with dancing, music and clothing
from their home country. One of the most
popular events is the International Bazaar.
Students from more than 100 countries
represented at OSU set up displays of
their native dress on the library lawn,
and some of the groups sell products or
food from their home country to raise
money for their student clubs.
One of the biggest events students look
forward to attending is the Salsa Ball
sponsored by the Latin Dance Club.
The Salsa Ball is a unique opportunity to
dress up and set the dance floor on fire.
This event brings to campus the dancing
passions of more than 350 salsa crazy
people. You don’t know how to salsa?
That is not a problem. The Latin Dance
Club holds free lessons each weekend
on campus during the fall and spring
semesters.
If you want to go off campus, the city of
Stillwater offers many possible events.
There is the fall County Fair complete
with baking contests, carnival rides,
and livestock showings. Stillwater is in
the heart of cowboy country and there
are several barbecue cook-offs held
in town each year as well as several
rodeos. The city has a bowling alley,
multiplex movie theater, lakes, and parks.
The city also sponsors art festivals, a blues
music festival, and many other events.
A complete list of activities in town can
be found on the Visit Stillwater website
at visitstillwater.org.
Why did you choose oSu for
your graduate studies? I chose
OSU because of the excellent
faculty and research opportunities.
Also, the general sense of community
on campus and in town is very
welcoming and supportive.
What is your favorite thing about
oSu? Besides the educational
opportunities, the campus is beautiful;
the architecture and landscaping
makes campus a great place to be,
especially for graduate students who
spend many hours per week there.

Career education and awareness is
paramount during your academic
tenure at OSU, if you want to
succeed in the job search at the
end of your degree. At OSU,
there are several services available
to help you in your quest towards
a future career.
career Services
Perhaps the most helpful of the services
available to you is Career Services.
Career Services at OSU is one of the
best in the nation with each academic
college offering a branch office
staffed with people ready to help you.
These offices provide you with resources,
workshops, services, and staff to help
with your career decisions. Also there is a
dedicated staff member just for graduate
students available in the main office to
assist with your career search questions.
Their services include resume and
curriculum vitae development/critiques,
job search strategies, career fairs,
internship & full time job information,
professional school application assistance,
and much more. OSU Career Services
attracts top employers from around the
state of Oklahoma and the nation to
their career fairs. There are even some
employers that do not attend any other
career fairs in Oklahoma except those
held at Oklahoma State University.
Career Services is available to you
throughout your career at OSU.
Even as an alumnus you are eligible to
use their services. Perhaps the best part
is that their services are free to you!
We encourage you to use the wide range
of services available while at OSU.
Career Services is committed to offering
you specialized assistance in finding the
best job whether you wish to remain
in academia or pursue a career in the
business world. You can learn more about
their office via the web at hireOSUgrads.
com or you can stop by their offices in
360 Student Union (Stillwater) or North
Hall 130 (Tulsa).
To prepare students for careers in
academia, OSU offers a program that
combines courses and practical experience
to help OSU doctoral students become
highly competitive as they pursue faculty
positions and to give them a head start
on the road to success in research,
teaching, and service. All students
earning doctorates at OSU receive the
opportunities and guidance to excel
in research, but academic institutions
increasingly expect new faculty to be
excellent teachers, render professional
services, have collaboration skills, and
contribute to students’ overall growth.
These expectations are not typically
addressed as part of your doctoral degree.
The UFP program complements the
research preparation that OSU’s doctoral
programs provide with instruction in
pedagogy through select coursework,
observations of exemplary instruction,
and practical experience. In the core
course, Succeeding in the Professoriate,
in which any doctoral student can
enroll, participants learn about the job
responsibilities and expectations for
higher education faculty such as course
planning and management, the tenure
process, mentoring, resource acquisition
and management, and service within
and outside an institution. In two other
core courses, participants develop their
understanding of human learning,
and instructional design. Next, they
participate in an apprenticeship in which
they observe and receive guidance from a
qualified faculty mentor in their discipline.
Finally, during the teaching practicum,
program participants teach a course under
the supervision of their UFP mentor.
While earning their certificates,
participants also gain an understanding of
the current research-based “best practices”
in college teaching; receive guidance while
creating a professional portfolio, including
statement of teaching philosophy, research
plan, and syllabi; interview faculty
nationwide via videoconference; have
the opportunities to obtain video-recorded
documentation of their teaching; become
informed about the types of institutions
best suited for their careers; and learn
about institutional citizenship including
governance, compliance, equity, and
collegiality. For more information,
see their website at grad.okstate.edu/ufp.

webpage (www.okstate.edu/registrar).
The Class Schedule book also lists the
drop/add deadlines, final examination
schedule, and other information about
the semester.
Dropping and adding
courses (Drop/add)
For the fall and spring semesters,
you can add or drop courses through
the Monday of the second week of
school through the web enrollment
system (prodosu.okstate.edu).
After this point, you have through the
end of the second week of school to add
or drop courses. This period is called
“restrictive enrollment.” During the
restrictive enrollment period, dropping
or adding courses via the web is closed:
any changes must be done in person on
either the Tulsa or Stillwater campus at
Enrollment Services. To add a course
during restrictive enrollment, you
must obtain written permission from
the course instructor, plus you must
enroll in person on either the Tulsa
or Stillwater campuses at Enrollment
Services. There are monetary penalties
for dropping a class during or after
the second week of school. There are
shorter periods of time for dropping/
adding short courses and summer
semester courses. You can consult the
Class Schedule for more information.

Syllabus
Each course is required by OSU policy
to have a course syllabus. The syllabus
includes information about the course
objectives, grading policy, and other
pertinent information about the course.
campus Safety
The efforts of the men and women of the OSU Police Department and the
efforts of all faculty, staff and students, have gained OSU the reputation of
being one of the safest campus of any university. Campus officers patrol in
cars, on foot and on bicycles. OSU’s police force is one of the best in the
nation and was the first force in the state to receive accreditation from the
Oklahoma Association of Chiefs of Police.
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and
Campus Crime Statistics Act, a report which details the numbers and types
of crimes on the OSU campus for a three-year period is available online at
www.osupd.okstate.edu/stats.php. A paper copy of the report may be obtained

University-related charges. This office
also disburses all federal and campusbased funds your bursar accounts.
A financial counselor is available to assist
with financial matters regarding your
bursar account. The counselor is available

is the student’s responsibility to check their
individual bursar account to verify that
University-administered scholarships and
waivers, as well as external scholarships,
have been credited to their account.

general tips to assist
With Billing
All billing statements are sent to you
at your OSU email address. Be sure to
activate your OKEY account to receive this
email address. Carefully read everything
you receive from the Bursar Office.
Create a file for your billing statements
retrieved online plus any correspondence
or notes regarding your financial aid.
It is VERY important to be aware of
deadlines and University policies, such as
payment due dates. Remember, it is better
to be early than late. You can find a guide
about your bursar account at bursar.
okstate.edu/forms/BursarCatalog.pdf.
As a student at OSU, you agree to pay
all charges on your account when due.
You also acknowledge that failure to
make the required payment by the due
date will result in the possibility of
finance charges, revocation of campus
charging privileges, inability to enroll in a
future semester, and/or withholding of a
transcript or diploma. Your future credit
rating may be jeopardized and collection
costs incurred if your account is placed
with a collection agency.
Billing Statement — online
A monthly billing statement generates
on the last day of every month detailing
charges and payments that occurred.
A billing notification is sent to your
OKSTATE email address at the beginning
of each month. You may request the
notification be sent to a secondary email
address through the web based SIS system.
You can pay your bill via the web at
prodosu.okstate.edu or in person.
Payment is considered past due after the
15th of each month. A payment option
plan is available. OSU may clear your
check electronically and it will appear
on your bank statement although your
check will not be physically presented to
your financial institution or returned to
you. For Bursar Office questions, forms,
and to view your billing statements visit
bursar.okstate.edu.
local Banking
Local banks welcome student accounts. Because many OSU students maintain
bank accounts in their home bank, many merchants will accept out-of-town
checks with proper identification. Also, most major credit cards are accepted
by local merchants. If you are interested in banking locally, we have set up
these links for local options:

The OSU Alma Mater is sung at the
conclusion of all athletic events and many
campus events. You will hear it played at
20 minutes past the hour from the library
carillon on campus. Whenever OSU
students, faculty or alums sing it, they
use their arms to spell the letters O-S-U
on the final three notes of the song. And
all Cowboys know the left arm is up on
the "S"! If you want to learn the song:

Homecoming
Waving
Homecoming has been a fall semester
tradition at OSU since 1914 and was originally held in conjunction with the annual
Harvest Carnival. It became a separate
event in 1921 and has become one of the
nation’s largest homecoming celebrations. Today, OSU’s homecoming draws
crowds in excess of 30,000 to Stillwater,
with events such as the Harvest Carnival,
window and sign painting competitions,
walk-around, pep rally and parade. You
won’t believe it until you see it.
orangeconnection.org/homecoming
What are all those people doing with
their arms in the air at the athletic events?
The WAVE! The first documented waving
was at Varsity Revue in the 1920’s.
The wave symbolizes the waving wheat of
the Oklahoma plains - one of Oklahoma’s
leading agricultural commodities.
The Waving Song was adapted from
“In Old New York” from the musical
“The Red Mill.”
School Colors:
Orange and Black
OSU’s school colors are Orange and
Black. Not only do our athletic teams
wear the colors, but students and fans
wear orange at all the games. It is also
a tradition to wear orange on Fridays in
solidarity to the University.
Theta Pond
Theta Pond is on the Stillwater campus,
and was built in 1895. It was originally
known as the Horse Pond because it
watered the horses and other livestock housed in a nearby horse barn.
In 1922, it became known as Theta Pond,
drawing its name from the Kappa Alpha
Theta sorority located across the street.
Over the last 60 years, Theta Pond has
undergone numerous renovations and
changes including expansion, lighting,
and landscaping.
Spirit Rider
A rider carrying the OSU flag rides a
horse into Boone Pickens Stadium at
the beginning of each home game and
after each touchdown. The “Spirit Rider’
tradition began in 1984 when student
John Beall became the first rider, using
his own horse. OSU purchased its own
Spirit Rider horse in 1988 and named
him “Bullet” through a contest in the
student newspaper.

Bedlam Games
Throughout the year, Oklahoma
State University and the University of
Oklahoma compete in various athletic
events. Fans from both schools show up in
huge groups to help support their favorite
university. Describing the Bedlam Rivalry
in words is almost impossible. A bedlam
game, no matter what sport, brings fans
to their feet from the first moment, and
they hold their breath until the very end.
