“On Friday, it looks like the parents have information sessions scheduled
while the kids go to Advising and Scheduling and set their schedules for the
first semester. The information sessions sound great but I sort of want to
be there when my son is scheduling for his first semester. Any thoughts?
What is everyone else planning to do?”

“LOL…that is where the apron strings get
cut. It's only the kids. I am helping with
courses and times, advising, etc. between
now and then. What he schedules after
that is all on him.”

“When we were doing this with our daughter, we
sat her down the night before, got on the
computer with all the classes and picked out her
schedule (wrote it on a piece of paper) prior to
her meeting on that Friday. She was pleased with
it and when she got there, her meeting went
smooth and quick. It was a win, win, win. Hope
this helps!”

“I keep telling myself that THIS is the time
when I get to sit back and watch her
BE/become what I've been training her to
be all these years! (Okay, I'll be biting my
nails while I'm sitting there.)”
