• Database Access – 70+ valuable business focused databases.
From the library homepage
go to the Business Research Guide for links to core databases. Select Business in the Research
by Subject box or go directly to http://guides.library.jhu.edu/business

Bloomberg Financial Services Terminal access - Interactive, financial information
service offering real-time business news and financial and economic data. Stand alone terminal
located on 3 campuses. No remote access. We can arrange on-site training.

Access from Off-Campus – You have it!
Click on the “Connecting from Off-Campus” link
under “Search a Database” on the library homepage to learn more. You’ll need to access via
the library’s links using your JHED ID and password. More information is at

Citing Sources & RefWorks -
Create a database to manage and annotate your citations,
easily create bibliographies in the citation style of your choosing, and properly footnote your
paper. Look under the “Research Help” section of the library’s homepage to start using
Refworks.

JCard & Books- Once you activate your JCard [contact your nearest circulation desk], it
becomes your library card. Your borrower # begins with 2115…. Use the JCard not only to enter
JHU libraries, but to check out or renew JHU library books. Use the “Search by” box at the top of
the homepage or the link for more search options to find books on your topic
http://catalog.library.jhu.edu . Request a book through the blue request button in the book’s
record or through your center librarian. Weekday deliveries are made to JHU libraries. Email is
sent when your book has arrived.

Reserves – Retrieve electronic readings 24/7 by 1) entering your assigned, course-specific
password at the Library Reserves Course Readings site, or 2) accessing directly from your
Blackboard courseware. See your campus library for print reserves.

Interlibrary Loan – Need books or articles not owned by Hopkins, or articles available only
in print? Get articles delivered to your desktop and books delivered to you at to your nearest
JHU library. Delivery time varies; you will be notified when the material arrives. On the home
page, select Interlibrary Loan. Use your JHED login and password to create/access your account
and submit requests.
