FORM 1
Description of Offices
All of the following class positions are held for the freshman year only. To retain
these offices, you must run again in the sophomore year elections. Positions
available: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Senator (6 Senate
positions are available).
President:
Vice-President:
Secretary:
Treasurer:
Leads in freshman activities
Assists president in leading freshman activities
Records all information regarding freshman activities
Keeps track of all funds for the freshman class
These class officers decide upon and organize freshman activities such as fundraising for community projects, class picnics, or whatever the officers think
would be a good activity for the class.
Senator:
There are 6 senators from each grade who are responsible for
running school-wide events such as the canned food and
clothing drives, Homecoming dances, and volleyball marathons.
The 6 freshman senators also assist the class officers in
planning freshman activities. Senators meet more frequently
than class officers, usually once a week, often in the evenings.
This is a very time consuming position!!
All of these positions require extremely responsible people. Select the position
that you think you can adequately fulfill. Good luck!
