MATH 260 Basic Linear Algebra
2015 Fall Semester Midterm Exam 2 (December 16th 2015)
Please read the notes below carefully.
Content of the examination:
 Determinants (3.2)
 Vector Spaces (4.1,4.2,4.3,4.4,4.5)
 Inner Product Spaces (5.1-Inner Products,5.2-Norm and
Orthogonality)
 Students must write their names and numbers on the exam sheets with
ball pen.
 Sheets must be kept folded right in front of the student.
 Nobody will be allowed to leave the classroom during the first 30
minutes and the last 15 minutes of the exam.
 Nobody will be admitted to the classroom once they leave it. (Even for
the restroom)
 Any kind of electronic device must be switched off and removed from
the desk. Also books, lecture notes etc. should be removed. If an
electronic device or any kind of paper related to the course is seen, it will
be treated as attempted cheating.
