Manufactured specifically for the HC5000
In February, RISO introduced a RISO Branded Paper with a matte
finish specially manufactured for use with the ComColor HC5000.
The paper has a matte finish on both sides to accomodate duplex
printing.
RISO’s matte paper is designed to produce optimum quality output
from the HC5000 at all printing resolutions for both single-sided and
double-sided printing.
The paper, packaged by the case, is available in letter (8.5” x 11”) and
ledger (11” x 17”) sizes, orderable directly from RISO, Inc. The part
numbers, descriptions, and prices are as follows:

The letter-size case quantity has been changed from 2,500 sheets to
2,000 sheets (4 reams) per case. This change makes the cases
lighter and easier to handle and keeps shipping and handling costs
down. The cost per sheet continues to be competitive with other
matte papers. The ledger-size case contains 3 reams of 500 sheets
each totalling 1,500 sheets per case.
In addition to RISO’s matte paper, we are continually researching and
testing “off-the-shelf” paper for recommended use in the HC5000.
Included in this newsflash is a list of paper tested to date, and we will
continue to update and post this list.
